Economy, an integrated part of the Home, is ran by agricultural engineer and technician. All activities on economy are performed with maximum responsibility, in order to save breeding material
on which the whole production depends. Employees as responsible professionals do not let anything happen by chance.
Home owns about 10 hectares (25 acres) of land designated for our own use. There is farmland on which are largely fruit trees, but Home also grow other useful crops and do gardening. On the land,
Home also keep house animals and farm animals. There are about hundred pigs, thirty sheep, goats, hens, a snail farm and other smaller animals. Besides, Home has its own machinery, gardens and smoke-house.
Production of meat is based on specific number of pigs. With expert team and skilled workforce, it is based on excellent genetic potential which came as result of long term selection. Production is not large,
but is much bigger than Home needs. On economy there are about thirty sheep. From that population, the best specimens are separated for further reproduction and selling.
Some of the residents and children are actively involved in the work on the farm, which has proven to be a very good form of work therapy for the participants.
