The Home for mentally challenged children and youth is a compact institution. But, in order to separate productive from non-productive, primary from
secondary activities, there are different departments within the Home. In spite of decentralization, functioning of the Home is stable.
Within the Home there are several departments: pavilions, workshops, medical, technical, economy, bookkeeping and management. None of these
departments is independent entity. This decomposition is made only for rationalization and efficient management of important business functions.
