This type of therapy is conducted through training, once a week, in workshops. All educational groups are involved, and simplest operation are performed with different materials and tools.
During rehabilitation process of mentally challenged children and youth work empowering is final step. Work empowering for some operation in production process is realized through workshops:
print shop, offset print shop, carpentry workshop, painter's workshop, cardboard factory, native handicrafts, dressmakers shop, a general workshop, bakery and farm. Decision regarding protégées
deployment is made by expert team composed of: psychologist, defectologist, work instructor, social worker and psychotherapist, based on skills, wishes and interests.
Workshops are organized according to plan of work empowering. Time interval between conquering specific operations can be divided into three steps:
- I familiarization with workshop, tasks, materials, machines and tools
- II observations of skills and inclinations with practicing specific work operations
- III practicing and training for independent implementation of specific operations
